Ok, so if there was any doubt even after the first sonogram that I was pregnant, I have ZERO doubt now. No, I don't have the proclaimed "morning sickness" that gets all the press, but I do have pretty much every single other symptom. I did not know I could ever feel this drained of energy for such a long period of time, nor did I ever think I would have to ever pee this much... Sparti and I are on the same schedule: eat, sleep, pee, repeat. ;)
I'm not complaining, though...I LOVE knowing that I am pregnant and can't wait to tell everyone! We were thinking we might tell some people like parents, siblings and close friends after the 27th when we see the heartbeat, but now we are thinking we should wait until the 4th of July weekend when I will be 12 weeks. We don't want to put anyone else through the agony of keeping such a secret nor do we want anyone to worry while we are away on our honeymoon. Besides, waiting kind of makes it that much more exciting for us. :) Now, if I could only coordinate for my parents to come to Salina for the 4th of July weekend...
The cool part is that we were looking at a schedule and by the time we get back from our honeymoon, our baby will look like a real baby rather than the alien reptile it looks like now. But we do love our alien reptile - which Eric has given the much cuter name of Button. :)
One last thing... today marks one year since Eric asked me to marry him! We realized that our lives have now changed A LOT since that day. We got engaged, married, and pregnant within about one year! Eric's response to this, "Yeah, I've been working really hard." haha
