"Excellent"

I got a call from the doctor today (wasn't expecting that) and all the message said was for me to call them. I was a bit scared by this, but they do call for good news too. :) My progesterone levels from my first blood test came back as 43.2, which according to my doctor is, "Excellent!" So, as long as they keep climbing I should be good to go.

Good news = the cramping is a good thing; bad news = the cramping is a good thing. ;)

I am now debating on when and how to tell our parents. You see, our doctor's appointment is May 27th at 1:30pm and if Dr. Matile is feeling good about things AND we see a heartbeat, then I want to tell our parents and sisters (only them for now, though). The dilemma is that my parents will be on a road trip visiting my sister from May 22nd - June 5th... do I wait and tell them about it a week after Eric's parents find out OR do I call them and tell them all at the same time? I would like to tell them all at the same time AND in person, but that wouldn't be possible until MAYBE the 4th of July weekend and it is getting harder and harder NOT telling them as it is. Ugh, I wish I would have asked my parents if they would care getting the news over the phone, but I guess I never thought that as needing to be an option...

  1. After posting this, I got the nerve to call my mom and casually talk to her about "sharing this news one day" and THANKFULLY, she will be more than happy to get the news no matter how we tell them! :) Of course, I would normally tell them in person, but since they will be on their road trip when we find out if we can share this news or not, it just might have to be told over the phone. :)
